When I explained sessions as “programmed appointments” instead of “document access,” the perceived value increased. People commit more readily when they understand they’re following a mapped progression rather than a one-time plan. Small wording choices have an outsized effect on the financial outcome of each model IMO.

One thing that improved conversions for us was starting the Av2 talk before the assessment ended. Instead of presenting it as something extra, I link it to what we just discovered during testing: “Here’s how we’ll address that weakness.” It changes the frame from “Do you want to buy this?” to “Here’s the next step in your plan.” Clients rarely say no when it feels like continuity.

The most effective digital outreach we’ve done came from using actual Av2 session visuals. Didn't use ads really, but short clips showing the structure of a real session layout. It demonstrated professionalism without giving away content. People could see there was substance behind the name. For anyone managing Av2 online, focus less on exposure and more on presentation.

These are all so interesting. Appreciating the inputs. We learned that digital outreach works best when it’s segmented by familiarity. Cold audiences respond to education; warm audiences respond to updates. Instead of one general email campaign, we built two versions, one introducing the science behind Av2, and another sent to former clients explaining that their gym now includes structured programming. The second group converted almost immediately.

Our best digital outreach results came from personalizing follow-ups rather than automating them. When trying Google Ads for the first time, start with a small, controlled budget and focus on clarity over volume. Keep your ad headlines simple and relevant to what your audience is actually searching for, and avoid trying to sound overly polished or corporate. Use location targeting to keep your ads visible only in areas you can realistically serve, and pay attention to which search phrases bring in the most qualified traffic.
Most importantly, treat the ad as the conversation starter and the follow-up as the real work. Respond quickly to inquiries, use the prospect’s name, and reference the ad or keyword they likely saw. That simple step can turn a casual click into a meaningful lead far more effectively than any automated response system.

We converted more clients once we stopped talking about what the program includes and started focusing on what it solves. The script we use now asks something like, “What do you usually skip in your workouts?” Whatever they say, core, structure, progression, we then try to address that thing with a solution. I think when you do that, it makes the solutions seem more personalized.

You don’t need to hire more trainers to scale this thing. That’s the part I didn’t believe at first. Just keep the services separate, that way you aren't risking anything. If you have trainers, keep that going. Use your license to do strictly virtual.

We made the mistake of using fitness jargon in our first round of ads. Nothing landed. Then we rewrote everything in plain language. No 'buzzwords' just regulat talk. “Full workouts you can follow without a trainer” outperformed every technical headline we tried. The simpler we made it, the better it converted. Good luck to all!!
