Microtrauma

Microtrauma is a critical concept in fitness and bodybuilding. The term refers to the small, microscopic tears that occur in muscle fibers as a result of high-intensity exercise, such as weight lifting or resistance training. These micro-tears are important for several reasons, which collectively contribute to muscle growth and strength gains. Here's why microtrauma is important in fitness:

5. Stimulus for Anabolic Hormones: The process of repairing microtrauma stimulates the production of anabolic hormones, such as testosterone and growth hormone, which are crucial for muscle growth and repair.
